With less than ten weeks to
polling day on June 4th, Katie said that it was important that people voted to prevent Britain being represented by extremists.
“Low turnout increases the chances for fringe groups to win seats. It would be shaming for our country, and especially
the East of England, to have the far right pass the finishing line, especially when our parents and grandparents fought so
bravely against such views. People should vote to prevent this.”
Parliamentary Candidate, Julian
Ware-Lane, said he was pleased that Richard had chosen to come to Castle Point. “Whether you are an enthusiast or a
cynic regarding Europe it is important that voters express their choices. The Tories are isolated in Europe and have no meaningful
influence. Richard Howitt is a superb ambassador for his native Essex and the UK.”
There are also Essex County
Council elections on the June 4th.
